When it comes to life coaching people are quite skeptics. They are doubting its efficiency and don’t believe that could be helpful to them.
The truth is you can’t believe in the efficiency of life coaching until you experience it yourself!
So why are a lot of people still hesitant about asking a life coach for help while successful ones are used to it for years ? Is life coaching worthy ? How can a life coach be useful to anyone ?
A life coach is a professional who can help you live up to your full potential and become the best version of yourself. He can also help you identify goals and find a way to achieve them.
Whether it’s personal or professional, a life coach can guide you in the right direction.
Many people think that they don't need help and they can figure out everything by themselves.
The truth is that there is usually someone around us (family, friends) playing the coach role but sometimes it's not enough and coaching becomes just a necessary professional extension of that help.

When do you need a life coach ?
ᐅ You want to get unstuck and set goals you will actually achieve (personal, professional,
nutritional, sportive..)
ᐅ You feel lost or confused and want to start a new life journey (family, personal or
professional decision to make, life transition ….)
ᐅ You want to accelerate the next step in your career or life transition.
ᐅ You feel like you need to challenge yourself or break out of your comfort zone.
( preparing for a race, a special exam, a new career …)
ᐅ You want to change unresourceful habits and replace them with resourceful ones.
( procrastination, lack of commitment.. )
ᐅ You want to regain self confidence, change your mindset and your inner thoughts.
(replace anchorage, positive thinking..)
ᐅ You want a life purpose and a meaning but you don't know where to start.
ᐅ You are confused about your next step in your life and would like guidance on what it
would help you the most.
ᐅ You are not sure what to be grateful for in your life and need more clearance to find out.
ᐅ You have an idea but you don’t have a plan.
Depending on whether life coaching concerns the personal side or the professional one or both, a coach can use many practices alone or in combination with each other like :
Mindfulness
Gratitude exercises
Art therapy techniques
Yoga (breathing techniques, meditation..)
Motivational techniques
Resilience exercises
Different coaching models : GROW (goal, reality, options, way forward), ITO (Input, Throughput, Output), FUEL (framing, understanding, exploring, laying out), Nested model, the U process model ..
Life coaching is a short term process. According to the identified goal and the coached involvement, It should take 5 to 20 sessions to achieve it.
Once again, coaching cannot replace therapy or psychological support and can't help people with more deep rooted problems who requires a medical psychological therapy.
