These eight limbs of Yoga referred to Ashtanga Yoga which is in Sanskrit, “asht” : eight and “anga” : limbs or parts.
The purpose of these eight yoga practices is to help us purify our physical body, energy body, gain mastery over senses, and become free from presuppositions.
